Review on NYX Jazz Night Palette

Hey guys, so I wanted to do a review on one of my favorite eyeshadow palette by NYX. I first saw this makeup brand when I was working for my friend's beauty supply store 5 years ago and I loved how cheap it was. But cheap can mean the overall quality sucks. Well I played around with many eyeshadow colors and loved how pigmented and blendable it was. I was only buying MAC eyeshadows at the time and in the end it was putting a huge hole in my pocket so I was excited to find an alternative. They came out with these 10 color eyeshadow palettes and I bought the jazz night one. I love the size of it because it can easily be carried around in your purse and it also has a huge mirror. It cost about $10 at Ulta. It has a creamy silky texture to it. I love this one because I can easily do a smoky eye with it. Even though it's very pigmented only downfall is that it doesn't stay on long even with primer. If you're planning on wearing it for a very long period of time I wouldn't recommend it but you can carry it around and reapply as needed. Another problem with this is that there's a lot of fall out so you must shake the excess off your brush or else you'll end up with it on your face. And couple of the colors are chalky so there's really only 3-4 colors I really use. It's not my favorite out of all the brands out there but it is from NYX.

Here's the colors I mostly use to do a smoky eye with MAC eyeshadows.

Crystal Avalanche, Silver Ring, Beauty Marked, and Carbon
